Job Description


Our client a leader in the FX and CFD markets using leading technology and skilled experienced staff to provide the ultimate trading experience, is looking to recruit an Accountant to join their team in Limassol.

Job Responsibilities

  • General Bookkeeping duties. Responsible for keeping proper books of accounts and financial records (i.e. Banks, purchase and sales invoices, payroll accounting, VAT, vendors and creditors, intercompany transactions, revaluations, close year, etc.)
  • Completing of VAT returns and VIES.
  • Checking company bank statements.
  • Conducting regular bank reconciliations.
  • Preparation of reports for Management as and when required.
  • Dealing with financial paperwork and filing.
  • Calculating Salary, Social Insurances, PAYE.
  • Providing information/reports to external Auditors.
  • Any other duties allocated by the Head of the Department.

Job Requirements

  • University/ College degree in Finance/ Economics/ Accounting or related field
  • A 1-2 years of relevant experience as a Bookkeeper is essential.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Greek & English (Written & Spoken).
  • Organized, diligent, and able to pay attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Computer literate and good knowledge of Excel
  • Good team player with a strong work ethic.
  • Computer literate and good knowledge of Excel
