Job Description

Our client a leading Forex Broker, a well-established international investment firm that has become a true industry leader, with offices in Europe is seeking to recruit  AML Officer Assistants to join their team in Limassol.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responding to AML/CFT compliance queries received from Trading Point’s personnel and counterparties
  • Providing guidance and training to staff on AML/CFT risk awareness
  • Identifying, examining and reporting any suspicious activities related to money laundering and terrorist financing
  • Conducting investigations and preparing analytical reports
  • Conducting client reviews and due diligence
  • Communicating with clients and updating client files, risk classification and escalating cases to the AML Officer
  • Performing Know Your Customer and Customer Due Diligence procedures for new and existing customers
  • Working with business units to resolve account opening issues and obtain necessary information during investigations

Job Requirements

  • Degree in law, business, finance, economics or a related field
  • Experience in a similar position is considered an advantage
  • CySEC advanced certification or CySEC AML certification will be a plus
  • Basic accounting skills is considered an advantage
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Very good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
