Job Description

On behalf of one of our clients, a Forex broker, we are seeking to recruit a Trading Platform Administrator (TPA) to join their team in Limassol

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the smooth operation of the MT5 platform ecosystem


  • Install, configure, and maintain MT5 servers, operating systems, trading platform, applications, plug-ins, feeders, liquidity bridges, instruments, groups, and other related settings


  • Manage system upgrades, document processes, and provide relevant technical support for our clients


  • Perform routine maintenance and stress tests to inspect the systems and software and resolve any issues


  • Liaise with IT teams to collaborate on all related matters to ensure best practice


  • Collaborate with external advisors and vendors to keep our MT5 technology in perfect order and up-to-date


  • Provide other departments with technical support and training as needed


  • Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues


  • Setup and Configure plug-ins


  • Responsible for capacity, storage planning, and database performance


  • Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and fail-over procedures


  • Interact with all interested internal partners to ensure best practice in configuration of the system


  • Supervise and collaborate with all outsource companies in direct relation to the trading platform, systems, and software


  • Add, remove, or update user account information, resetting passwords of related trading platforms etc


  • Ensure the security of the MT5 ecosystem in collaboration with our IT department
  • To distribute and maintain all access rights in relation to the MT5 Platform
  • Advise the Chief Information Officer of recommendations on how to increase the quality and speed of services
  • Responsible for the proper and efficient development and filling of all documents relating to the above procedures


  • Perform any other activity assigned by the Chief Information Officer from time to time


  • Work very closely with our Dealing department to ensure proper delivery of products, plugins and other related

Job Requirements

  • University / College graduate in Information Technology or related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar position


  • Hands-on experience with MT4/MT5 trading platforms


  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with team members


  • High level of self-organisation, responsibility, desire to learn and grow


  • Knowledge of .Net is an advantage


  • Knowledge for performance optimization is an advantage


  • Working experience with cloud technologies


  • Outstanding troubleshooting skills


  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
