Accountant in Limassol

DESCRIPTION

Our client, a daughter firm of a top-tier legal services provider, is seeking to recruit an Accountant in Limassol.

Benefits:

    The annual salary is paid in 13th Monthly instalments

    Provident fund 2% for the employer and 2%-10% for the employee upon the completion of 12 months of employment

    Probation period 6 months

    21 days annual leave

    Normal public holiday days

    Paid parking place provided by the Company

    38 working Hours per week

    Working hours 8.00 to 17.00 with one hour lunch break or flexible 8.30 in the morning with 30” minutes lunch break only

    Friday working hours 8.00 to 14.00 or 8.30 to 14.30

 

about the role

RESPONSIBILITIES

    Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records for local and international clients

    Reconciliation of Banks, Debtors and Creditors

    Preparation of Trial Balance and Management Accounts for clients

    Preparation and filing of Quarterly VAT Returns via TFA  platform

    Submission of monthly VIES Declarations

    Clients liaison for accounting-related information

    Coordination with auditors for Annual Statutory Audit

    Handle any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by management

basic information:

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or LCCI Higher Certificate in Accounting combined with a minimum of 4 years of experience as an Accountant in a similar sector.
  • Partially qualified ACCA or ACA will be considered a strong advantage but is not mandatory.
  • Basic knowledge of Excel and Word is essential.
  • Familiarity with E-Soft software will be considered an advantage.
  • Fluency in both written and verbal English is required.
  • Strong ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective communication with clients, providing timely support to address their needs and ensure satisfaction.
