Our client, a luxury river cruise company, 52 years of service that operate cruises in rivers only in Europe, is seeking  an Accounts Payable & Administration Manager in Limassol (Hybrid).

about the role

RESPONSIBILITIES

Accounts Payable Duties:

  • Process and verify invoices, ensuring accurate coding and timely payments.
  • Reconcile accounts payable ledgers and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare and manage payments to suppliers and service providers.
  • Monitor and maintain records for VAT, taxes, and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.

Payroll and Payments:

  • Support the preparation and processing of payroll for both office staff and crew.
  • Ensure timely payments of salaries, allowances, and benefits.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure compliance with employment regulations.

Administrative and Secretarial Duties:

  • Provide administrative support, including handling correspondence, scheduling meetings, and preparing minutes.
  • Maintain organized records and documentation to support audits and regulatory filings.
  • Liaise with Cypriot authorities for regulatory and administrative matters.
  • Coordinate with banks for treasury functions and payment processing.

Collaboration with the Accounting Team:

  • Work closely with the broader accounting team to ensure accurate and efficient processing of financial data.
  • Provide support for external audits and internal reporting requirements.

basic information:

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience: Minimum 7 years in accounts payable, payroll, and administration, preferably in ship management or maritime sectors.
  • Previous team management experience will be considered as a strong advantage
  • Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or Business Central) and MS Office Suite.
  • Languages: Fluent in English; knowledge of Greek is a plus.
  • Legal Eligibility: Cyprus work permit required.
