about the role

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Core duty is active sales and account management for Leisure and MICE segments to generate revenues for the hotel.
  • Under the guidance of the Direct reporting line, responsible for maximizing rooms / F&B / Conference and Banqueting business from a defined account base.
  • Manage key accounts/key prospects and other active accounts to ensure maximum yield in line with budgetary objectives.
  • Proactively prospecting new accounts and following the sales process through to convert into ‘producing’ accounts.
  • Maximize conversion of business in line with the Hotels’ budgetary goals as well as personal goals.
  • Be able to organise her/his own sales calls as well as Action plan. Maintain valid call objectives and relevant action plans for each key account/key prospect and ensure all follow up is executed in a timely manner
  • Continuously search for new possibilities for cooperation on new and existing markets.
  • Building and maintaining great relationships within industry, especially buyers, acting with integrity, with strong values, ensuring that that the quality image of the organization is portrayed, and that every opportunity is taken to promote the Hotel.
  • Organise and do online and live training of agents / reservation teams.
  • Representing the resort, worldwide, promoting the quality image of the company at every opportunity. The trips can involve sales calls organised by the Sales person, prescheduled events, fairs or similar occasions organised for promotional and sales purposes.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in sales, Leisure and MICE background.
  • Managerial position is a plus, not a must.
  • Flexible schedule and ability to travel.
  • Excellent Knowledge of English Language. Any other foreign language will be considered as an advantage.
  • Excellent listening skills, proactive behavior to anticipate one’s needs.
  • Extrovert, who networks, engages and connects easily.
  • Highly effective soft and organizational skills.
  • Team player able to act independently.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Good presentation skills
  • Customer-centric
