about the role

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Overseeing the daily execution of tasks relating to deposits and withdrawals
  • Leading the risk assessment of all transactions related to deposits, withdrawals and credits, to identify potential fraud and other related issues, and take all necessary actions
  • Resolving internal and external queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Preparing of various regulatory reports related to back-office/administration
  • Identifying and enhancing internal procedures, systems, and controls
  • Taking initiative, delegating effectively, and communicating clearly to meet the department’s goals
  • In addition to the above duties, the team leader from time to time will be required to undertake additional or other duties
  • Providing leadership and guidance to the back-office team, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Continuously assessing and streamlining back-office processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Training, mentoring, and motivating team members to optimize performance and foster a culture of excellence
  • Liaising with other departments to facilitate seamless cross-functional collaboration
  • Preparing regular reports on back-office performance metrics, including transaction volumes, error rates, and turnaround times
  • Addressing and resolving escalated issues and discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner
  • Leveraging technological tools and systems to automate routine tasks and enhance productivity within the back-office environment
  • Ensuring timely completion of back-office tasks

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • Proven experience in back-office operations within the financial services industry
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate team members
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Thorough understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and quality
