about the role

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Record and handle journal entries to ensure accurate recording of all business transactions
  • Compile monthly bookkeeping materials for the external bookkeeper Support in the examination of expenses, payroll records, etc., as assigned Maintain up-to-date and precise financial data in databases for immediate access
  • Prepare and deliver regular reports on a weekly/monthly basis
  • Assist the Senior Accountants/Bookkeeper Manager in the preparation of monthly/yearly financial closings
  • Manage invoices and process accounting transactions
  • Generate and submit VAT returns Communicate and cooperate with TAX/VAT authorities

REQUIREMENTS

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Possess a minimum of 2 years of Bookkeeping experience, with preference given to those with experience in the financial services industry Demonstrate exceptional proficiency in the English language
  • Display advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, including formulas and spreadsheet formulation
  • Possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
  • Have experience in a fast-paced transaction-oriented environment
  • Be capable of working effectively under pressure
  • Exhibit meticulous attention to detail
