Business Analyst in Limassol (Hybrid)

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Business Analyst who will be responsible for analysing, designing, and optimizing business processes, while serving as a key liaison between stakeholders and technology teams to support digital transformation initiatives.

The Business Analyst holds a critical role in connecting business requirements with technology solutions. This position centres on evaluating and enhancing processes to drive efficiency, scalability, and digital transformation. Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams, the Business Analyst ensures that transformation initiatives align with strategic business goals and generate tangible value.

about the role

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyse, document, and enhance business processes within the scope of the company’s digital transformation and ERP implementation initiatives, as well as across departments to strengthen efficiency, quality, and compliance.
  • Partner with stakeholders to collect requirements, uncover pain points, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Map current and future-state processes using established methodologies (e.g., BPMN, flowcharts).
  • Support the design and rollout of new systems or process improvements, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Produce clear and structured documentation, including process maps, SOPs, and requirements specifications.
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and interviews to confirm process understanding and proposed solutions.
  • Provide support to project teams during implementation, user acceptance testing (UAT), and change management activities.
  • Track KPIs and performance metrics to assess the impact of process enhancements.
  • Maintain adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Serve as a key link between business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Contribute to the development of team capabilities and share knowledge across the organisation.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience (2+ years) as a Business Process Analyst, Business Analyst, System Analyst, Project Coordinator or similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and processes.
  • Experience in process mapping and documentation tools (e.g., Visio, SAP Signavio).
  • Experience gathering and documenting requirements, and translating them into functional specifications.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of cross-functional teams.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Considered an Advantage:

  • Professional certifications (e.g., CBAP, Lean Six Sigma, BPM, PMP, PRINCE2 certification).
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle).
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall).
  • Experience in managing/coordinating technology projects;
  • Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Understanding of RPA (Robotic Process Automation), AI-driven solutions or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience in change management and training delivery.
