• Participation in all frames of the wholesale Electricity Market
• Participation in all electricity supply plans and, consequently, in the retail Market
• Analysis of production profiles and preparation of forecasts for market declarations
• Monitoring and proposals for continuous improvement of consumption and balancing of Bilateral Contracts, analysis of final customer profiles, proposals for optimizing the final profile
• Preparation of specifications and/or implementation of all necessary software systems in collaboration with the IT Systems Officer
• Participation in the investigation of production mix optimization methods for the benefit of Market yields
• Participation in the activities of the Electricity Market according to the Supply License issued to the Company by the Regulatory Authority for Energy of Cyprus and as a Party to the Market Rules in force or as amended and applicable in the future
• Conducting consulting and management tasks for industrial or commercial or any other businesses. Advising on methods of development and improvement of businesses in the technological and environmental sector, particularly in the field of alternative energy sources, energy conservation and production, electricity supply and trade, as well as sales systems and sales development
• Providing all necessary support to connected producers
• Providing all necessary support and assistance to end customers
• Checking accounting balances of transactions in the Electricity Market
• Maintaining an appropriate updated archiving system (electronic and printed, as required)
• Monitoring on a daily basis the legislation of the Regulatory Authority for Energy of Cyprus (RAEC), Electricity Authority of Cyprus (EAC), and Cyprus Transmission System Operator (TSO)
• Checking monthly settlements and raising objections in case of discrepancies with the administrator’s results
• Monitoring the market and managing the presence or absence of energy to satisfy customers and increase company revenues through the pre-day market
• Analyzing and updating prices and parameters of electricity and fuel markets from competent operators and regulatory authorities
• Participation in the development of consumer pricing tariffs and preparation of forward market proposals with producers
• Participation in the operation of the group’s electricity market in accordance with legislation, electricity market rules, and electricity supply rules for end customers.
