They are now seeking to recruit English speaking examiners to join their international team in CY and work on a remote basis.

about the role

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct online spoken interviews following the scripted Interlocutor Framework and company’s regulations.
  • Manage exam interactions and ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Maintain standardization and consistency in interlocution.
  • Assess candidates’ performance fairly and consistently based on company’s stringent assessment criteria.
  • Follow required procedures to verify candidate identity and maintain exam integrity.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues to ensure a smooth testing experience.
  • Attend trainings and standardization sessions.
  • Implement feedback and continuously improve performance.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of examination materials.
  • Provide feedback on assessment material when necessary.
  • Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned, considering the multinational presence and global operations of company across multiple time zones.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in English Language or a related field (Linguistics, Education, ELT/TESOL), or any undergraduate degree combined with a TEFL/TESOL qualification (Level 5 and above) from a recognized institution.
  • Postgraduate or research degrees and teaching qualifications will be considered as an advantage.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ full-time TEFL teaching experience, excluding freelance and volunteer teaching, with demonstrable experience in English language assessment examining with awarding bodies.
  • Strong knowledge of the Common European Framework (CEFR) and its levels.
  • Proficiency in IT literacy and familiarity with online communication platforms (e.g., Teams).
  • Excellent command of the English language (C2/native-like) with exceptional listening, writing, and speaking skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple activities simultaneously.
  • Previous experience in certification of individuals and/or training and exam fields is desirable.
  • Highly organized, self-driven, flexible, and able to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment.
