We are seeking a Executive Chef in Limassol,  accountable for overall success of the daily kitchen operations. Exhibits culinary talents by personally performing tasks while leading the staff and managing all food related functions. Works to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction while maximizing the financial performance in all areas of responsibility. Supervises all kitchen areas to ensure a consistent, high-quality product is produced. Responsible for guiding and developing staff including direct reports. Must ensure sanitation and food standards are achieved.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leads the kitchen management team.
  • Oversees daily operations and provides clear direction.
  • Sets performance standards, monitors staff, and ensures goals are met.
  • Reviews staffing levels to balance guest service, operations, and financial goals.
  • Supervises and coordinates food preparation activities.
  • Demonstrates new cooking techniques and equipment to staff.
  • Sets and maintains culinary goals and standards.
  • Ensures safety procedures are communicated, understood, and followed.
  • Manages food costs, supplies, uniforms, and equipment expenses.
  • Implements and upholds brand safety standards.
  • Guides menu development and food presentation.
  • Monitors food quality and compliance with sanitation standards.
  • Provides exceptional service, addressing guest feedback and complaints.

basic information:

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Culinary arts
  •  8+ years’ experience in in a similar capacity
  • Excellent Knowledge of English Language
  • Highly effective communication and organizational Skills
  • Deep knowledge of food industry and trends
  • Budgeting skills to control costs
  • Strong background in HACCP procedures
  • Ability to create new menu items
  • Excellent leadership, management, and team building skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel, Word, Outlook)
