about the role

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensuring excellent guest service and satisfaction by addressing guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly.
  • Acting as the point of contact for VIP guests and ensuring personalized attention.
  • Overseeing daily front office operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments.
  • Coordinating with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless service.
  • Managing the team to maintain smooth workflows, especially during peak periods.
  • Supervising, training, and mentoring front office staff to deliver exceptional service.
  • Handling team schedules, ensuring adequate coverage at all times.
  • Monitoring staff performance and addressing any issues professionally.
  • Handling cash transactions, monitoring billing accuracy, and ensuring proper procedures are followed.
  • Preparing daily financial reports and ensuring revenue is properly accounted for.
  • Responding to emergencies, including medical situations or security issues, and coordinating with relevant teams.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and emergency protocols.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, brand standards, and local regulations.
  • Monitoring guest feedback and implementing improvements where necessary.

basic information:

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s or associate degree in hospitality management or business administration
  • Based in Cyprus (preferably)
  • Proven experience in Front Office operations
  • Previous experience in similar positions is an advantage
  • Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
  • Guest-oriented and service-minded
  • Proficiency in English (oral and written). Another foreign language will be an advantage
  • Knowledge of Opera or other similar PMS system will be an advantage
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strong ability to multitask and a positive can-do attitude
  • Good organizational and multitasking abilities
