about the role

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the Head of HR in implementing HR strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives. Contribute to workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development initiatives.
  • Support HR recruiters and team members with daily operational tasks, ensuring efficient HR service delivery. Maintain accurate employee records and handle routine HR inquiries.
  • Coordinate the recruitment and selection process to attract top talent and facilitate a smooth onboarding experience. Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
  • Assist in managing the company’s performance evaluation process, including scheduling evaluations, gathering feedback, and supporting goal-setting activities.
  • Act as a key point of contact for employee relations, addressing concerns and helping to resolve conflicts in a fair and consistent manner. Promote open communication and collaboration across all levels of the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with employment regulations and internal policies. Track and analyze HR metrics (e.g., turnover rates, absenteeism) to support decision-making and improve HR processes. Prepare regular reports on HR activities for the Head of HR and senior management.
  • Assist in managing employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits. 
  • Provide information to employees regarding benefits options and assist with enrollment and claims processing. 
  • Support HR projects and initiatives that align with organizational objectives.
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR files in accordance with legal and organizational requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2  years of experience in various HR functions, preferably in an HR Generalist role.
  • Strong knowledge of Cyprus labor laws and regulations.
  • CIPD Level 5 or Level 7 qualification is an advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in HR software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluency in English; Greek language skills are a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
