Our client, a multidisciplinary design consultancy with 15 years of experience delivering major projects in London and extensive international expertise in architecture, project management, and real estate investment advisory, is seeking a Junior Architect to join their team in Limassol to remain with them for the future and build her/his career with them.

  • Working hours: 08:30 – 17:00 (with a 30-minute break)
  • Competitive salary: €950 net per month, adjusted based on experience (x12)

about the role

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in Design Development: Support senior architects in creating design concepts and detailed plans.
  • Draft Architectural Drawings: Prepare and update blueprints using CAD software.
  • Coordinate Projects: Collaborate with design and engineering teams to meet project goals and deadlines.
  • Conduct Site Visits: Help document construction progress and ensure compliance with designs.
  • Create Presentation Materials: Develop renderings and visual aids for client presentations.
  • Research Codes and Regulations: Ensure designs comply with current building codes and standards.
  • Support Material Selection: Assist in choosing sustainable and cost-effective materials.
  • Prepare Permit Documents: Compile accurate documentation for building permits.
  • Engage with Clients and Consultants: Facilitate communication and integrate feedback into designs.

basic information:

REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and familiar with 3D modeling tools (SketchUp, Rhino, or similar).
  • Design Skills: Understanding of design principles and the ability to create architectural drawings as per instructions and under the supervision of the manager.
  • Knowledge of Building Codes: Basic understanding of building codes and construction regulations.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication for interacting with teams and clients.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and under the guidance of senior architects.
  • Problem-Solving: Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
