RESPONSIBILITIES

Laboratory Policies and Procedures:

    • Develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
    • Monitor laboratory performance and quality assurance programs to maintain the highest standards of quality and safety

Personnel Management:

    • Coordinate with management for the hiring, training, and supervision of laboratory personnel.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Equipment and Supplies:

    • Ensure that laboratory equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
    • Monitor laboratory inventory and order supplies as needed to support uninterrupted operations.

Vendor Relationships:

    • Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and suppliers to secure necessary resources and services.

Regulatory Compliance:

    • Prepare and submit reports to regulatory agencies as required.
    • Participate in laboratory accreditation and certification processes.

Continuous Learning:

    • Commit to lifelong learning in all aspects of the laboratory to stay updated on best practices and industry developments.
    • Actively participate in the Association of Laboratory Directors and pursue opportunities to attain a position in the council.

basic information:

REQUIREMENTS

  • Medical Degree with a specialization related to laboratory management or an MSc degree in a related field.
  • Academic Background: Preferably from academia, with a couple of publications, showcasing a commitment to research and scholarship.
  • In-depth knowledge of laboratory safety and quality assurance standards.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Fluency in Greek and English. Russian Language will be considered as an advantage
  • Ambitious and driven to contribute to the company’s growth and success.
  • Strong computer literacy.
  • Familiarity with National Health systems (GESY) will be preferred
