We are working closely with this client and we are seeking to recruit a Mergers and Acquisition Manager.

about the role

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Rapidly assimilating new technical information and developing a deep understanding of transaction rationales across sectors.
  • Gaining broad experience in various transaction and financing-related situations.
  • Conducting market and business-level value driver analysis and coordinating supporting research.
  • Financial modeling to assess the impact of transactions and financing events.
  • Producing analysis to support negotiations for transactions and capital raising.
  • Preparing client reports and transaction materials for fundraising, acquisitions, and disposals.
  • Drafting information memoranda for business disposals and coordinating acquisition target profiles.
  • Setting project budgets and ensuring adherence to risk and compliance procedures.
  • Collaborating with specialists and global colleagues to deliver comprehensive transaction solutions.
  • Maintaining high-quality client deliverables, ensuring technical accuracy and valuable insights.
  • Leading and mentoring junior team members, providing guidance and on-the-job coaching (preferred but not required).
  • Supporting business development efforts by preparing high-quality materials, pitch documents, and attending client and prospect meetings.

basic information:

REQUIREMENTS

  • Expertise in Lead Advisory/M&A advisory.
  • Strong numerical and financial acumen, with an understanding of financial statements.
  • Experience in financial modeling and business valuation using methodologies such as DCF, precedent transactions, and comparable company analysis.
  • Industry exposure across different sectors (preferred).
  • Strong written communication skills, including experience in preparing presentations and transaction materials.
  • Confidence and excellent interpersonal skills in client-facing interactions.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines with strong project management capabilities.
  • Proactive approach to workload management, ensuring efficiency and full utilization.
