Online Exams Invigilator (Remote)

DESCRIPTION

Our client  is currently looking for Online Exams Invigilators (Proctors), who will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and security of the online examination process. Ideally a candidate living in Nicosia, but the company is open in seeing candidates that will be working remotely as well.

about the role

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor and supervise candidates during online examinations, ensuring their adherence to examination instructions and procedures.
  • Authenticate candidates’ identities and maintain exam integrity as per established standards, regulations, and processes.
  • Take necessary actions in cases of non-compliance with company’s regulations, following prescribed protocols.
  • Implement basic troubleshooting measures to address technical issues before or during exams, utilizing various communication channels.
  • Facilitate candidates’ performance and ensure a positive exam experience by managing interactions and providing support as needed.
  • Handle customer inquiries promptly and in accordance with service standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure equitable workload distribution and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Establish a suitable remote work environment that aligns with company’s criteria and allows for the fulfilment of role responsibilities.
  • Adhere to collective agreements, company policies, and remote work guidelines, including the provision of necessary tools and technology.
  • Embrace guidance and advice positively, implementing improvements when necessary.
  • Participate in relevant trainings to stay updated on best practices and procedures of the Online Exam Center.
  • Report any encountered issues promptly through designated communication channels for timely resolution in compliance with regulations and guidelines.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Passionate with Customer Service
  • Excellent command of the English language (native or C2 level certification desired, LanguageCert C2 LTE or C2 IESOL certificate would be a plus).
  • Bilingual in English/Greek is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree any discipline will be an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Experience from a similar position will be an asset
  • Well organized, self-driven, flexible and able to work in a high-volume, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment
  • Prior working experience in the certification of persons and/or training and exam fields would be considered an advantage
  • Advanced computer literacy is required. ECDL Advance level certification would be considered a plus
  • Ability to work in rotating shifts 0700-1500 and 1500-2300
