Quality Assurance Manager in Famagusta

DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Manager responsible for overseeing all production processes at our client’s factory, ensuring compliance with product and process specifications.

Benefits:

  • Working Hours: Monday – Friday and occasionally for 2-3 hours on Saturdays (when needed)

about the role

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain and update food safety management system records and complete daily quality control reports.
  • Verify prerequisite programs, including internal and external audit schedules, cleaning and sanitation programs, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Hygiene Practices (GHP), pest control, and fumigation.
  • Ensure compliance with food legislation and company adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Manage quality assurance and food safety matters.
  • Train new employees on the company’s quality standards and procedures.
  • Develop technical specifications and labeling for finished products.
  • Conduct quality checks on raw materials, packaging materials, and final products, updating records and reviewing procedures and work instructions as needed.
  • Handle customer complaints, implement corrective actions, and monitor their effectiveness to prevent recurrence.
  • Conduct organized and on-the-job training for personnel in different departments.

basic information:

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or Food Technology from an accredited institution.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a similar role within the food industry.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and accountability.
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines in a demanding environment.
  • Licensed by the Cyprus Council for Registration of Scientists, Food Technologists, and Dietitians.
