DESCRIPTION

Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the outlets’ operation. He/she ensures that everything is running smoothly behind the scenes, from staffing to inventory to customer service. He/She will also be responsible for delegating tasks to all the restaurant personnel and ensuring that the responsibilities are completed in a timely manner. His/Her ultimate goal will be to provide world-class customer service to the guests.

about the role

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Planning and delegating work duties to the staff and ensuring that they work according to the compliance of the restaurant business.
  • Overseeing the staff for the smooth running of the restaurant.
  • Assisting the Rest. Manager
  • Training new employees as per their abilities and skills.
  • Maintaining a strong relationship with suppliers and vendors.
  • Inspecting the food and beverage stock level and restock them in a timely manner.
  • Conducting inspections of the restaurant kitchen and ensuring proper hygiene is maintained.
  • Checking with the guest and making sure that they are getting served with the best quality food.
  • Resolving customer complaints in a professional manner.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction with all the services provided to them.
  • Preparing daily reports and presenting them to the higher management.
  • Managing the outstanding bills and cash inflows of the restaurant.
  • A keen eye on details for accuracy.
  • Good time management skills.

basic information:

REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Hospitality related field 
    • 3+ years’ experience of Food and Beverage Service Industry in the same position or any similar role in Hospitality Industry in 4- or 5-star Hotels 
    • Excellent Knowledge of English Language
    • Highly effective communication and organizational Skills 
    • Working knowledge of general restaurant operations, including personnel management
    • Excellent leadership, management, and team building skills.
    • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel, Word, Outlook)
    • Knowledge of Hotel software / PMS or Sales will be an advantage
    • Customer-centric
