Job Description

On behalf of our client, an International firm that operates in the energy and petroleum sector, we are currently seeking to recruit an Accountant for their offices in Limassol.

Job Responsibilities

  • Preparation Oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying financial transactions
  • Verifying, allocating, posting and reconciling accounts payable and receivable
  • Producing error-free accounting reports and present their results
  • Analyzing financial information and summarizing financial status of daily Cash Flows
  • Reconciliations of bank accounts and clearing companies to internal systems
  • Upload, Review and approve payment to vendors in payment
  • Basic knowledge in VAT and Payroll
  • Preparation of daily Cash Flows
  • Maintaining of Computerized accounting records
  • Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
  • Processing invoices, receipts, payments and manage various day to day accounting related tasks
  • Κnowledge of annual financial statements

Job Requirements

  • Degree Holder in BA Accounting and Finance or any other relevant field
  • Non-qualified or partly qualified ACA or ACCA
  • At least 5 years of demonstrated work experience in an Accounting role
  • Excellent command of English language both verbal and written
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel (formulas)
  • Experience in a high-volume transaction environment
  • Ability to work under pressure
