Job Description

Work Channel Recruitment is working closely with a fully Regulated and Licensed Accounting and Fiduciary Service Firm operating in Larnaca. The company is offering a wide spectrum of services, including International Tax Planning, Accounting, Internal Audit, Tax and VAT Compliance, Domiciliation, Incorporation, Secretarial, Corporate Compliance, Banking, Nominee and Trustee and other support services to International Corporations operating in various different jurisdictions and industries as well as to high and ultra-high net wealth individuals and they are looking to recruit an Accounting Manager for their company in Larnaca.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations for both a portfolio of international clients as well as the internal accounting department;
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements;
  • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principals;
  • Assessing agreements for any tax or VAT implications;
  • Completion of tax and VAT forms;
  • Lead ad hoc projects and manage resources to ensure, implementation, compliance and accuracy;
  • Communicate with clients either by telephone or e-mails and face to face;
  • Liaise with the auditors/associates;
  • Liaise with government authorities;
  • Liaise with company Directors;

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of four years’ experience in the accounting of international clients and/or internal accounting function;
  • Experience in managing resources is not a pre-requisite but will be considered as an advantage;
  • Higher or CAT diploma or any other equivalent in accounting is prerequisite;
  • Accounting/Economics/Business related degree will be considered an advantage;
  • ACA/ACCA qualification will be considered as an advantage;
  • Computer Literate;
  • Good Knowledge of Cyprus tax Law;
  • Very good knowledge of applying VAT principles for international clients and for services offer ed to international clients;
  • Very good knowledge of Social Insurance Law;
  • Knowledge of Sofia and CYCOM accounting Software will be considered as an advantage;
  • The candidate must be residing in Larnaca;
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills in the English Language;
  • Experience with International clients is preferable;
