Job Description
On behalf of one of our clients, a Forex broker, we are seeking to recruit a Web Designer to join their team in Limassol.
Job Responsibilities
- Work closely with the analysis department to understand requirements in order to produce designs and interfaces that are user-friendly, effective, appealing, responsive and that adhere to design standards and specifications
- Work closely with the marketing department to accommodate their design/marketing/advertising needs
- Responsible for creating the design of the company’s websites, client/affiliate/other portals and of the business management system
- Responsible for creating visuals (banners, animations, videos) as well as landing pages for the marketing and advertising needs of the company
- Work closely with the development department to accommodate their system design needs
- To effectively meet deadlines without compromising on work quality
- The position requires skills of imagination, creativity, technical excellence, patience, attention to detail, some analytical skills, communication skills and SEO knowledge
Job Requirements
- University / College graduate in Web Design or related field
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar position
- Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and other visual design tools
- Proficiency in front-end development web programming languages such as HTML and CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript
- Good understanding of content management systems
- Good understanding of search engine optimization principles
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
- Excellent visual design skills
- Up-to-date experience with international web protocols, standards, and technologies
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact with team members
- High level of self-organisation, responsibility, desire to learn and grow
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
